Why church membership?

Members at Zion make a joy-filled commitment to share more fully in the life of the church by worshipping regularly, participating in community service and outreach, and giving their time, talents, and money to further the church’s mission in Berkshire county and throughout the world.

Yes, there are benefits! Members have increased opportunities to deepen their faith and grow in relationship with Christ; to feel a sense of purpose as a unique and vital part of this church; to experience joy as they interact with other church members from a wide variety of backgrounds; and to discern and fulfill God’s mission for their lives.

Ready to become a member?

Welcome to Zion! Those who have not been baptized are welcomed as members through the sacrament of baptism. Those who have already been baptized in another church tradition are received through an Affirmation of Baptism which we celebrate several times throughout the year.
