Zion Lutheran Church of Pittsfield hosts “Soup, Bread & Jazz” every Thursday evening during the season of Lent. At 5:30pm, come to Zion Lutheran for a (really!) informal soup and bread meal followed by Jazz Vespers at 6:00pm—it all happens right in the sanctuary!
The Thursdays in Lent include February 14, 21, and 28, and March 7, 14, and 21. On Thursday, March 14, Soup, Bread & Jazz features Zion’s Second Annual Chili Cook-off!
Zion’s Jazz Vespers is a sunset evening prayer service held every Thursday at 6:00pm. The music for Jazz Vespers is led by the Rev. Andrew Barnett, piano, along with Andy Wrba, bass and Bill Chapman, drums.
