Zion at the 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering

Four high school youth and two adults represented Zion at the 2012 ELCA National Youth Gathering, July 17-22, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

From the pre-trip fundraising to the sharing of the experience with the congregation afterwards, this continues to be an incredible project for not only the youth but for an entire congregation supporting them.

The 2015 ELCA Youth Gathering will be held in Detroit, Michigan, and we’re already looking forward to going back!

As we continue participating in Youth Gatherings, please pray for the youth: for their fundraising efforts, for their safety in travel, and for the experience, that it might enrich their lives of faith both now and for many, many years to come.
