Holding the tradition of the Psalms, Zion is the heart of the city of God, a diverse, beautiful place welcoming all peoples. With one step at a time we can become more like the Zion whose name we bear.
Lutheranism is not a religion. We are unashamedly Christian. But, that said, we go about Christianity in a Lutheran way. While we might say that this means observing the Lutheran Confessions and some (but not all) of the writings of Martin Luther, in practice, this means that we proclaim a message of forgiveness, grace, and love.
We worship together. We come together for fellowship events. We serve our neighbor. That’s what it means to be church; gathered as a community around faith in Jesus Christ, we are stronger together than we are apart.
